I also celebrated my birthday last week on the 19th, having a joint party with my friend Sophie. I needed some headshots for the Girls Learning Code blog, as I will be mentoring with them sometime this year! So my friend who is also mentoring took my camera out just before the party (pics below). I got a new laptop, which just happened to coincide with my birthday, but really my old one was severely broken and needed to be replaced. I've also acquired tickets to Osheaga in Montreal, so I finally have something confirmed to look forward to this summer! I just have to get through exams, haha.

Those photos are now inaccurate, though, as I've dyed my hair again! My normal brand didn't have any darker blues, so I had to settle for Manic Panic, using "After Midnight". I don't have any high quality photos of the new hue since I dyed it yesterday, but I did take these silly photos today. Whenever I wear a bodysuit I feel like an American Apparel model.
i have a rlly silly room w/ stuffed animals and posters... will be redecorating and moving out soon...
Something else I've been working on is a new project my friend started, a pop-culture and comic publishing website. I'll be writing for the blog, reviewing movies, books, and tv, that kind of stuff. Launch day is supposed to be this Friday, and I should have one article! I went to the Toronto Comic Arts Festival and interviewed some of my favourite artists, so that's something I will definitely share here when it's published.
